2016 City Wide Garage Sale Fundraiser
June 3-4, 2016
Held at Anna and Bill Poland's house at Sixth and Willow, this was in conjunction with the annual city wide garage sale in Ponchatoula.
GREAT AMERICAN YARD SALE 2015
A major effort on all members to donate yard sale items, an even bigger effort on Libblie Barron who priced and stored the things prior to the sale. Libbie and others provided refreshments.
The club sold plants, baked goods and a lot of "white elephants" - clothing, bric-a-brac and stuff.
President Margaret Bailey said: "A big shout out to all the ladies that baked goodies, brought rummage and plants, paid for water, ice, coffee, creamer, sugar, and napkins, trucked in tables and chairs and pop up tents, and of course worked all or part of the day of our garage sale. We made $$ for our club to use on projects and expenses. Thanks to all that made this happen.
