Handling registration for the annual Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc. Summer Board Meeting held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge were Gardenettes Sunday Hanson and Vicky Fannaly. The two day event was held July 11-12. Gardenettes are also members of District VI LGCF Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc. and National Garden Clubs Inc.

Kathy Tell award sponsor, Vicky Fannaly Gardenette representative, receiving Award 33-1 Small Club Website first place from Linda Finley, Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc. president for the year ending April 2021. The club received first place in small clubs for their Publicity Pressbook Award 22 and Award 34 - Social Media Honorable Mention.
Gardenettes received several state awards at the Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc. annual Summer Board meeting held July 12-13 in LeCompte LA, site of state headquarters building.
The garden club received Award 33-1 Small Club Website first place from Linda Finley, Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc. president for the year ending April 2021. The club received first place in small clubs for their Publicity Pressbook Award 22 and Award 34 - Social Media Honorable Mention.
In non competitive awards the club received: Award 1 Garden Club Appreciation - gold seal with gold ribbon; Award 2 Yearbook - honorable mention; Award 5C Horticulture Honor Roll - gold seal; Award 11C Special Conservation; Award 17 Arbor Day.
Gardenettes are members of the state organization, the Deep South Garden Clubs Inc. and National Garden Clubs Inc. The local club was started in 1942 and federated the following year.

Gardenettes received a first place in state and a second place in the region for their publicity press book at the annual Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc. Summer Board meeting held at the Embassy Suites in Baton Rouge July 16-17.
Accepting the awards were Vicky Fannaly and club president Sonya Avery. The club also received first places in the non competitive awards for President's report, Horticulture Honor Roll, Arbor Day, Special Conservation and recognition for submitting in all four categories.
The club is a member of District VI LGCF Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc., and National Garden Clubs Inc. The event was hosted by Hammond Garden Club.

Gardenettes members attend the recent Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc. Summer Board Meeting in Baton Rouge at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Gardenette President Anna Poland and Vice President Sonya Avery went to the Monday meetings; Vicky Fannaly, LGCF Webmaster, was on hand Tuesday.

Held at the Embassy Suites hotel in Baton Rouge, this meeting was well attended with over 100 Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc. members and guests. Chairman Diane Dufour had us running smoothly and on time. LGCF Inc. is a member of the Deep South Region, National Garden Clubs Inc.
