New member Jamie Leblanc was welcomed into the group. Long time garden club member Peggy Avery was voted into honorary member status due to her health problems that make it hard for her to remain active.
Anna Poland received people's choice for her floral arrangement on a theme of Pollination Celebration, which used at least one flowering plant that attracted butterflies and bees. Other members brought horticulture specimens to display.
Mainly an organizational meeting, the club committees discussed plans for the coming year, which included a garage sale, a scholarship raffle, more bosom buddy bags, a Make A Difference Day benefit, Box Tops for Education, as well as garden club objectives like conservation, garden and landscaping recognition.
